Here are some tips to help you avoid taking things personally all the time.

pause and reflect: Instead of being triggered, you need to pause for a moment and reflect on why that conversation was triggered for you and why it hurt you.

Assume positive content: Instead of looking at things negatively, you should assume that there is something positive in them. This will help you look on the bright side.

Recognize triggers: We need to be aware of our own triggers and know how to recognize them. This will help you effectively deal with triggers in a healthy way.

practice empathy: Instead of reacting, you should try to handle the situation with compassion and empathy for the other person. By doing so, we can become more kind.

maintain boundaries: We need to be kind and considerate, but we also need to be strict about our boundaries. We must communicate boundaries and their importance to those around us.

challenge assumptions: Not everything we think is true. We should challenge our thoughts and assumptions and try to find the truth within them.

Develop a growth mindset: Instead of being triggered by the conversation, we should try to find out what the conversation is teaching us and what we can learn from it. When you develop a growth mindset, every situation can be an opportunity to become a better version of yourself.
