Grammy Award-winning Colombian superstar Shakira will head to Boston on her world tour later this year.
Shakira announced Tuesday that she will visit 12 cities in the United States and two cities in Canada on the first leg of her world tour. The tour begins in North America on November 2nd in California and ends on December 15th in Detroit.
The tour will stop at Boston’s TD Garden on December 8th.
The tour is built around the March 22nd release of Shakira’s 12th album, “Las Mujeres Ya No Lloran” (Women No Longer Cry). The 17-track album is the singer-songwriter’s first studio album in seven years.

Overseas dates will be announced soon.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on April 22nd at 10am. Shakira’s Wolfpack members who participate by 11:59pm ET on Wednesday will have access to the pre-sale starting Friday, April 19th at 9am ET.
On April 12, Shakira performed at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in California with DJ Biza Rap.
