CIRP investigated how many iPhone buyers were previously Android users and why they decided to switch from Android to iPhone.
People switching from Android smartphones to Apple smartphones reached their highest peak in five years in the spring of 2023, but the share of these buyers is now declining slightly in the United States.
In May 2023, CIRP shared a report showing that 15% of Apple buyers are switching from Android to iPhone. The average selling price of these iPhones was $1,000. However, according to CIRP’s latest report, the new trend of migrating from Android to iPhone appears to be slowing down a bit.
According to a CIRP report, 13% of Android users have switched to iPhone. This represents a 2% decrease in the number of buyers compared to last year. However, this is still higher than the percentage observed in his 2020 and his 2019, and the same percentage as in 2019. In 2022, 15% of people in the US will switch from Android to Apple. Now, let’s see what that percentage will be in 2024. Will more iPhone users switch from Android, or will the proportion decrease? CIRP’s next report will surely tell us.
Meanwhile, Samsung has released the S24 series which has been well received by users. Customer satisfaction is also high, exceeding the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Pro.
