Footage from Captain America: Brave New World was shown to attendees at Disney’s CinemaCon 2024 presentation, in which Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, played by Harrison Ford, asks Captain America, played by Anthony Mackie, to rebuild the Avengers. A scene is shown.
The video begins at the White House in Washington, D.C., with Ford CEO Thunderbolt Ross talking to staff while drinking a lollipop because he can no longer smoke cigars. He also changed his look because he had to “lose his mustache or lose the election.”

As mentioned earlier, one of the most important parts of this footage was President Ross wanting Sam Wilson to rebuild the Avengers after the events of Endgame. He then tells about the discovery of the Millennium, which was stolen from a mine site in Japan, but luckily Cap and Joaquin Torres retrieve it.
Isaiah Bradley and another agent then heard a high-pitched sound, which caused them to start firing. Confusion ensues. Ross also throws punches. As Sam points out, “people in the inner circle are at risk.”
Captain America: Brave New World is scheduled to hit theaters on February 14, 2025, but not much is known about the movie yet. But we do know that the film will explore “what makes Captain America” and explore Wilson’s underdog status as the new Cap.
The film also stars Liv Tyler, who hasn’t appeared since 2008’s The Incredible Hulk, reprising her role as Betty Ross. There will also be a new Hulk villain, with Tim Blake Nelson reprising his role as Samuel Sterns/The Leader.
