Microsoft officially released the Copilot mobile app for both Android and iOS platforms in early 2024. This time Microsoft has added to the beta version of the Android Copilot app a feature that allows you to replace the default Google Assistant on your Android device, but with some limitations.
As reported by Android enthusiast Mishaal Rahman: X (old Twitter) account (via Android Police) New version 27.9.420225014 of the Copilot Android beta app is now available as one of several options for users to choose as their default digital assistant app on Android.

However, at least for now, this new feature has limitations. The beta version of the Copilot Android app does not have access to the APIs required to take screenshots of an Android smartphone or tablet’s display. It also doesn’t automatically listen to voice commands yet.
If you have an Android smartphone or tablet and can access the beta Copilot app from the Play Store, first download the Copilot app from your smartphone.[設定]You can switch to your default digital assistant by going to the menu. Next, tap on the “Apps” selection, then tap on the “Default apps” option, and finally tap on the “Digital Assistant” app menu selection.
So far, Microsoft has not yet posted any official confirmation regarding this new feature in the Copilot Android beta app. The company may be waiting to officially announce that this feature has been added until it is ready to be added to the non-beta version of his Copilot app.
