Beer brand with desi flavor with chutney, mango and kokum – Lifestyle News

Beer brands are increasingly experimenting with unique local ingredients to add a flavorful twist to their alcoholic beverages. Recently, local craft beer company Bira 91 launched Chutney Sour, a limited release beer inspired by the flavors of Indian street food and brewed with tamarind, a key ingredient in chutneys.

For the new beer variation, Bira 91 collaborated with US-based craft beer maker New Belgium Brewing. “We couldn’t be more excited about our collaboration with New Belgium Brewing. Kati Patan’s beers celebrate a variety of flavors inspired by the country’s culinary roots. Simba, an Indian craft beer brand, has also been making waves with its delicious handcrafted beers since its launch in 2016. The company’s Simba Wit beer has aromas of orange peel, coriander and lemongrass, while Simba Stout boasts bold, roasted flavors. Rich espresso, caramel/toffee, dark chocolate.

The unique flavor comes at a time when India’s beer market is at its peak. It has experienced significant growth in recent years, and further expansion is expected.

According to a recent study conducted by market research firm Expert Market Research (EMR), the beer market in India will reach approximately Rs 4,831 crore in 2023. It is further projected to surge to around Rs 11,225.2 billion by 2032, with an estimated compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of around 9.9% during the forecast period.
