The Long Beach Island Arts and Sciences Foundation will host Stan Hales of the Barnegat Bay Partnership for its next Science Saturday, scheduled for February 17th at 11 a.m. via Zoom. Mr. Hales, who has been director of BBP since 2007, will speak on “Barnigat Bay His Partnership: Where Scientific and Civic Projects Meet.”
One of 28 National Estuary Programs across the United States, BBP is a coalition of federal, state, local, academic, business, and private organizations that work with Barnegat Bay watershed communities to help restore, protect, and improve water quality. It’s a partnership. natural resources.
