Google is currently fixing this issue by providing a full-page contact card when you tap the bard icon or image at the top of the screen.
This change was revealed by AssembleDebug on X (Twitter), and the corresponding screenshots give a good idea of what this page has to offer. As you can imagine, this contains quite a bit of information about how Bard works, and is quite different from the normal contact card you normally access within his RCS chat.
