Some AT&T users have become concerned that their mobile service has been disconnected for not paying their accounts. One said, “I’ve reset my phone 3 times and checked my bill payment twice @ATT, what’s going on? Is the service down or what?” Tweeted.
Meanwhile, Verizon users in Philadelphia, Chicago, Brooklyn, Houston, New York City, Dallas, Los Angeles, Spokane, and San Ramon reported the most network outages. Approximately 1,500 bug reports have been filed with Verizon.

911 operators across the country are warning that power outages are impacting their ability to take calls.
More than 800 outages for US wireless carriers Verizon and T-Mobile have been reported on their platforms, with emergency services struggling to receive calls.
Multiple police departments have warned that people continue to be unable to call or text 911, and the Flagler County Sheriff’s Office in Florida tweeted, “AT&T is experiencing an outage. “Subscribers cannot call or text 911.”
The cause of the problem is unknown, but service disruptions were reported in New York, Boston, Washington, Montreal, Honolulu, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, Seattle, and San Francisco.
