With iOS 17.4, Apple made it easier to track your iPhone 15’s battery life and overall health.A new software update, currently in beta, will update the Settings app.[バッテリー]The submenu has been changed to make it easier to see and understand the overall health of your battery.
Previously, across all iPhone 15 models, there was a section called “Battery Health and Charging” that opened a screen that displayed the battery’s capacity as a percentage. (Over 80% is considered good.) Newly named[バッテリーの状態]The menu will display whether the battery is healthy or not.

Tap Battery Health to open a submenu that shows your iPhone’s battery life cycle count, date of manufacture, and date of first use.
And speaking of cycle counts, Apple retested all iPhone 15 models and said the batteries should maintain at least 80% capacity for 1,000 charge/discharge cycles. Apple estimates that older iPhone models can maintain 80% battery capacity after 500 cycles.
Apparently, the overall hardware and battery of the iPhone 15 series remains unchanged, with Apple simply estimating the number of cycles required for the battery to reach 80% charging capacity.
