Apple may add iOS features that have been included in Android for 15 years

Apple may be looking to add iOS features that Android implemented a while ago.

This is a debate that’s been going on for a while – which is better, Apple or Android?

Many people have strong opinions on this matter and the latest rumors definitely provide even more fodder for Android users.

Although not confirmed, there are rumors that Apple will introduce new features.

This is probably not the most exciting feature ever, nor is it probably an important addition for some people.

But some people think it is very important.

It’s all related to the Apple home screen. As any Apple user knows, customizing your home screen is easy.

However, when you add a new app, it is automatically inserted next to the most recent app added.

In other words, there is no gap and it is impossible to create a gap.

You can move them around or organize them into folders, but you can’t leave gaps in them even if you want to.

However, people are speculating that the upcoming iOS 18 update will finally allow us to do this.

But in comparison, Android has been doing this for 15 years.

So why did Apple (supposedly) wait to implement this?

For reasons that aren’t clear, some people want to perfect their software before releasing it.

LADbible has reached out to Apple for comment.

In other Apple news, the tech giant told iPhone users how “important” it is to upgrade iOS to the latest software.

This comes with many bugs and security concerns.

The update went live last weekend, just weeks after iOS 17.4 was released in the European Union.

“This update includes important bug fixes and security updates and is recommended for all users,” Apple said in its release notes.

iOS 17.4.1 can be installed on iPhone XS and later devices. iPad Pro 12.9 inch 2nd generation or later. iPad Pro 10.5 inch. iPad Pro 11 inch 1st generation or later. iPad Air 3rd generation or later. iPad 6th generation or later. and iPad Mini 5th generation or later.

As of now, Apple has yet to release any details about what 17.4.1 actually is. The website simply says, “Details will be announced soon.”

“To protect our customers, Apple does not disclose, discuss, or confirm security issues until an investigation has been conducted and a patch or release is generally available,” Apple said in a statement.
