A new version of iOS 17.4.1 has been released.

I’ll explain what happened. Last week, iOS 17.4.1 was released, but instead of the usual Monday or Tuesday release dates, it was released on Wednesday. I wasn’t expecting the update to come so soon after iOS 17.4, but the fact that it came later in the week made me even more curious.
Second, the nature of the update’s security fixes, described here by Forbes contributor Kate O’Flaherty, were released later than usual.
Now, in a surprise hat-trick, Apple has just released new versions of iOS 17.4.1 and iPadOS 17.4.1. This was discussed by Joe Rossignol on MacRumors after it was discovered by a MacRumors contributor. Aaron Perris.
The new build number is 21E237 versus the nearly identical previous build number 21E236.
How different would it be? The answer is probably not very good. It is most likely a fixed bug fix. But if you thought the mystery was over, think again.
Currently not available for download. For example, you can download something called an IPSW file from Apple to update or restore your iPhone or iPad through the Finder app on your Mac.

Incidentally, Peris provided additional comments, stating that the new software is no different from the old software by adding references to the upcoming iPad, and believes the next iPad Pro will be released within the next few days. It baffled the critics (this is what I thought).
So what should I do? If this was truly an emergency, Apple would have done this as a quick security response, but it isn’t. So when it arrives as an update, you can download it over the air, and that’s the time to act.
