A seemingly simple iPhone setup has sparked a comical online debate among Reddit users.
One Apple user took to Reddit’s popular iPhone forum to share his girlfriend’s iPhone alarm of choice.
The post, which was shared four days ago, has the caption “What alarm sound do you use?”
The user, identified only as @flyingbreadrester on the forum, detailed his bewilderment in a thread.
“A timeless argument between me and my girlfriend is the alarm she uses,” the user said.
“She uses ‘bark’. Yes, ‘bark’. Imagine dream being chased away by a pack of crazy Dobermans,” the thread continued.
“I either use ‘euphoria’ or just the buzzer on my phone is enough.”
The user added that he had two questions. One is whether his girlfriend is “really a psychopath” and the other is what kind of alarms other people use.
The post quickly gained attention and other users also shared their opinions.
“I use my Apple Watch as an alarm clock. In my opinion, a gentle vibration is better than a jump in the morning.”

“Barking? That’s weird. Get away from her…” another person commented.
“The sleep feature in the health app doesn’t have any jump scares. I agree that vibration alone is the way the watch does it,” said a third person.
“However, for those who need sound, don’t use the default alarm app, instead go to Health > Sleep and set your alarm there,” they added.
“Starts at a very low volume, is basically quiet, and gradually increases in volume. I recommend the tone “Early Bird.” It is amazing. ”
“I use duck thorns…it’s peaceful,” said another user.
