Angelbird MagSafe External Recording Module for iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max

Today at NAB 2024, we took a look at the Angelbird MagSafe compatible external recording module for the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max.

There are two models of external recording modules: the CFexpress B recording module and the SD card version. Both are compatible with iPhone 15’s MagSafe, so you can easily attach them directly to the back of your phone to record and transfer 4K ProRes 60fps files directly to external media.

This collaboration between Angelbird and Kondor Blue is a custom-designed solution that allows iPhone users to export the highest file quality directly to professional CFexpress Type B memory cards. Uninterrupted data transfer is supported through a USB-C 3.2 Gen 2×2, 20 Gb/s cable designed with a recessed internal connection port for an efficient and secure recording experience.

Use the Recording module to maintain the integrity of high-resolution media files produced on iPhone and gain additional storage space for mobile production. This module can also be used as a card reader.

This module is also compatible with Kondor Blue iPhone cages and rigs. This module comes with an ARRI accessory mount that allows you to easily equip several Kondor Blue components such as NATO clamps.
