ANDROID users may no longer have to waste time queuing up for phones, thanks to an ingenious new feature Google is working on.
The tech giant is reportedly testing a new “talk to a live agent” feature that would allow its software to do everything for you.
That means the software will call the business on your behalf, select your options, wait on hold, and notify you when there’s a real person on the other end of the line.
This feature was first discovered by user X (ex-Twitter). sterling He said the feature is very similar to an existing Google Pixel feature called “Hold for Me.”
However, instead of taking effect once you’re put on hold, like “Please hold me,” “Speak to a live agent” actually proactively offers to call the company on your behalf. Masu.
It will also be available on all non-Pixel Android devices, including Samsung.
Not all businesses are supported, but some airlines, carriers, retailers, and other businesses are supported.

iPhone users will be able to use it through the Google app.
It cannot be accessed from within the Phone app.
Only available when searching for your company’s customer support number in Chrome or Safari.
When you click on the number, you’ll see a “Request Call” button only if your company supports this feature.

Supported businesses include US airlines, network companies, retailers, insurance, and other services.
Then select the reason for your call and Google will work its magic and provide you with SMS updates about the progress of your call.

Since it’s still experimental, it’s unclear when this feature will arrive on all Android devices.
As 9to5Google points out, it’s currently only available in the US via the Google app on iOS and Android, and Chrome Desktop.
