Afghanistan vs Uganda highlights, T20 World Cup 2024: Uganda captain Brian Masaba won the coin toss and elected to bat first in the match against Rashid Khan’s Afghanistan at the Providence Stadium in Guyana in the T20 World Cup on Tuesday.
Highlights of Afghanistan vs Uganda, T20 World Cup 2024 today match: Fazal Haq Farooqui led the bowling attack with five wickets as Afghanistan defeated Uganda by 125 runs in the T20 World Cup at the Providence Stadium in Guyana on Tuesday. Earlier, Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran had guided Afghanistan to 183/5 against Uganda.
Uganda are the second team to qualify from the ICC T20 World Cup African Qualifiers after Namibia, beating out countries like Zimbabwe and Namibia. Brian Masaba’s team includes Frank Nsubuga, who at 43 years of age is one of the oldest players in the tournament.

Afghanistan, on the other hand, will enter the tournament as dark horses having beaten the likes of England, Pakistan and Sri Lanka in last year’s ODI World Cup in India. Globe-trotting T20 spin sensation Rashid Khan will take over as captain, replacing Ibrahim Zadran, who led the team in the last ICC tournament.
