Some students get a chance, while others are rejected. A social media user recently shared that he was rejected from Stanford University in the US. But despite this setback, he said, “I’m still going to change the world.”

He wrote, “Today I got rejected from Stanford University (still intending to change the world).” This post was shared on March 31st and received a lot of attention from netizens. People expressed empathy by sharing their stories of being rejected by the universities they had applied to.

One user commented, “I’ve been rejected by Stanford 3 times in my life. Lol, don’t give up, keep going.”

“I was rejected from Stanford University in 2013 for the Class of 2017. I dropped out of safety school and joined a fast-growing technology company, and in 2016 I spent a day at Stanford. I spent a lot of time doing campus interviews for the Class of 2017. These are the same students who were chosen to get in over me,” one person commented.
