This is a cheesy Friday post, but I was struck by the fact that OpenAI CEO and co-founder Sam Altman said this. I just posted it on X/Twitter He said he thinks the new Apple Vision Pro is “the second most impressive piece of technology after the iPhone.”
(Perhaps he considers OpenAI’s own ChatGPT to be the No. 1 “most impressive” new technology since Apple launched mobile devices in 2007.)
Altman also responded to a responder who said the name of Apple’s new spatial computing headset was “probably the worst,” slamming his own product in the process.
Given Altman’s impressions, it makes a lot of sense that OpenAI already shipped the visionOS version of its ChatGPT app last week.
