Chicago (CBS) – From Sean Connery to Roger Moore to Daniel Craig, movie fans definitely know 007.

But it was high-tech spyware that really made James Bond 007, and fans can get their first look at some of the most famous movie props at Chicago’s Museum of Science and Industry.

It’s a new museum exhibit dedicated to Bond movies, although it could also function as a movie set.

“This ingenuity is a big part of why this museum is here,” said Kathleen McCarthy, the museum’s director of collections and chief curator.

Soon, the kindest ingenuity fans have ever seen from Bond will be on display in a museum.

“What’s so exciting about this exhibit is the imagination, invention, engineering and science that goes into creating these objects,” McCarthy said.

Mr McCarthy said ‘007 Science: Inventing the World of James Bond’ will be the first official exhibition to focus on the science and technology of the famous series.

“These cars are very extraordinary to begin with, but in a Bond movie, they turn into something very extraordinary,” she said. β€œIn this way, care here turns into a submarine.”

The exhibit will feature 13 Bond vehicles and more than 90 other artifacts related to the franchise.

“All of the science and technology that’s being put into both these cars and all the gadgets that he uses is really incredibly creative, and it supports the STEM education that we try to do every day here at the museum. “We’re doing it,” McCarthy said.

This exhibit features gadgets invented for movies that are inspired by real-world technology.

“No idea is too outlandish. You’ll also see some technology developed based on what Bond did decades ago,” McCarthy said.

Until the next film in the series is released, a museum might be the best place to see the latest Bond news.

The new exhibit opens on March 7th and will run until October 27th.
