Luke Evans and Milla Jovovich are set to star in Brad Anderson’s sci-fi action thriller World Breakers. The exchange is handling international sales and plans to introduce the cast to buyers at the European Film Market in Berlin.
Evans, whose credits include “Beauty and the Beast,” will step down from the lead role in “Backstairs Billy” in the West End. He and Jovovich are best known for their roles in the “Resident Evil” series and previously co-starred in “The Three Musketeers.” Anderson’s credits include “The Call,” “Beirut” and “The Silent Hour.”
This movie centers around a father and daughter. Five years ago, a crack opened in the fabric of reality, and creatures from another dimension came to our world intent on our destruction. The father hides his daughter on an island to keep her safe, while preparing for her daughter’s survival and the upcoming battle. But no place is safe.
“World Breaker” was written by Joshua Rollins (“Infinite Storm”). Produced by 23ten’s Martin Brennan (“Zone 414”, “One Way”). The film will be shot on location in Northern Ireland with support from Northern Ireland Screen. Producer holds US rights.
