How useful third-party extensions are on desktop browsers, adding all sorts of tools and functionality to your browser of choice, from changing the way tabs are arranged to annotating web pages to managing website volume. You probably know it well.
Although a huge number of extensions are available for Chrome on the desktop, Chrome and other browsers typically have smaller screens, fewer available system resources, and simpler interfaces.
But now things are changing. Firefox recently reintroduced extension support to its Android apps, and it looks like Edge is following suit and trying to take some market share from Chrome. Chrome is the default on about two-thirds of mobile devices around the world, including his iPhone and Android devices.
