The latest edition of The Progress of World Athletics Records has been published in print and eBook formats by World Athletics Heritage.
To celebrate the launch, we are giving away 10 print copies of the book.
This valuable reference work was first published by World Athletics in 1987 and has been edited again by ATFS member Richard Hymans. This edition was made possible with the generous support of Mark Takada of Canada.

This book chronicles the footsteps of all those who have pushed the boundaries of human achievement through the sport of athletics,” said Sebastian Coe in his Chairman’s Message in this issue.

In my sports, the men’s 800m and 1500m, it has only been achieved seven times…. The most recent world record, David Rudisha’s win in London, was incredible and will be remembered as one of the greatest performances in Olympic history.”
