Actress and lifestyle guru Gwyneth Paltrow is selling her Los Angeles estate for a staggering $45 million (US$30 million) as she prepares to downsize, according to The Wall Street Journal.
Built in 1950, this renovated home is a perfect blend of original charm and contemporary finishes.
It boasts reclaimed wood floors, intricate stonework and a spacious open living area, including a living room with French doors that open onto a lush backyard.
Paltrow purchased the property for $9.95 million in 2012 while she was married to her former husband, musician Chris Martin, according to real estate agents.

An on-site premium gym facility and a games room connected to a home cinema ensure guests will never get bored, while other amenities include a top-notch wine cellar and a caretaker’s room.
There is also an apartment above the garage that can be used as living space for staff or guests.
Health advocates wouldn’t expect much more, as the home comes equipped with “ultra-pure” drinking water and air filtration systems.
The eight-bedroom, 11-bathroom mansion is located in the Mandeville Canyon area of Brentwood and is thought to be neighbours with Kendrick Lamar, who is said to have purchased a $60 million mansion next door.
It’s unclear whether Kendrick Lamar’s $60 million deal has gone through, but if it does go through, it would be one of the most expensive real estate purchases in Los Angeles this year.
