USA Basketball has finalized its roster for the 2024 Paris Olympics.
America has a strong team in this Olympics. Superstars like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant and Jayson Tatum are coming together to take home the gold.

In 2020, the United States won the gold medal. However, many star players like James and Curry chose not to play for the team. This is the largest roster the United States has built in years. Repercussions are occurring after finishing 4th at the 2023 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
James has not competed in the Olympics in the past 12 years. This is James’ fourth time on the team, and he is aiming for his third gold medal, having won in 2008 and 2012. This will be Durant’s fourth appearance with Team USA.
Curry has represented the United States in the FIBA World Cup, but has never competed at the Olympic level. Steve Kerr will be his coach and he will be reunited with Durant.

The full roster includes Anthony Davis, Anthony Edwards, Devin Booker, Joel Embiid, Jrue Holiday, Bam Adebayo and Tyrese Haliburton. There is still one spot left on the roster, and many are speculating who will fill it. Jimmy Butler, Jaylen Brown, and Paul George are all top candidates.

The United States is aiming for its fifth consecutive Olympic gold medal. The last time they failed to reach the gold medal match was in 2004. However, it’s not as easy as in previous years.
