With the new Authentication Settings in Google Wallet for Android, you can now choose whether you need to verify your identity when using payment methods and passes in your wallet.
Updated on 4/15: Over the past few days, validation settings have been widely rolled out. A new card may appear in your path list explaining the new option.
This transit change will require Google Wallet to roll out common tap-to-pay authentication more frequently and widely.
