WEP has inherent design flaws that make it easy to crack even by novice hackers. If your network uses WEP, unauthorized individuals can intercept and read data sent over the network, creating a significant risk to your personal information.

Some users may still need this toggle to connect to older devices, but most users will benefit from leaving it disabled.
