According to PiunikaWeb, Android smartphone owners can now search for the phone number of a caller from the Recent Calls screen.
The beta version of the Google Phone app adds a new “Search” button to the scroller.
Once tapped, a menu will display a Google search for the person who attempted the call.
This button also provides users with options such as “Block” and “History.”
The feature will be rolled out in Japan in the March feature drop, and Google is likely to bring it to users worldwide in the June feature drop.

This feature was highlighted by 9to5Google in the safety and emergencies section of the latest Pixel smartphones.
“Use Pixel to send messages to emergency services and share your location when you can’t connect to mobile or Wi-Fi networks,” the leaked screenshot reads.
