The ETHS Foundation is proud to announce that we will be hosting an Appreciation Evening at Evanston Township High School. Highlighting the long-awaited grand opening of the Health Sciences Center, which was opened to students last month. A short program and free reception scheduled for Tuesday, April 16 at 6 p.m., will begin on the terrace and conclude with a tour of the new education center. The Health Sciences Center was funded entirely by her more than $800,000 in personal support from alumni and community partners.
The highlight of the evening will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new Health Sciences Center. This state-of-the-art facility is made possible through the generous support of our alumni and community partners. This state-of-the-art center features a simulated hospital environment with a five-patient bed setup and industry-standard medical equipment to facilitate nursing skills education and patient care. The course provides a springboard to a wide range of careers in the medical field.
Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the Health Sciences Center and learn about the certification courses and career experiences offered to students. From immersive lab experiences to specialized healthcare pathways, this facility represents a bold step in providing students with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed in the rapidly evolving healthcare field. .
In addition to exploring the Health Sciences Center, guests will also have the opportunity to visit the Literacy Lab, which was established in 2020 with the generous support of donors. This innovative space highlights our commitment to providing a support system for students with emerging literacy needs.
