TALC USA, a BRANDT company, is preparing a new production facility in Callan, Illinois to increase production capacity in the United States while reducing transportation costs to end-customer farmers. The production line is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2024, ready for supply during the 2025 planting season.
“As we continue to integrate our operations with BRANDT, it makes good business sense to locate our manufacturing line in Illinois and leverage BRANDT’s manufacturing expertise,” said Steve Johnson, founder of TALC USA. “It’s true,” he said. “And frankly, as demand for our cutting-edge technology increases, we need to be able to produce more product. Farmers are seeing increased yields with smoother plantings. Masu.”
The Callan production facility will be under the supervision of the BRANDT Dealer Support Group. Eventually, when fully staffed, he will need 5 to 8 additional full-time employees. BRANDT is currently seeking a Factory Production Manager to help recruit, train, and supervise our team.
“Growth is always a good challenge and we are proud of this next step in the evolution of our business,” said Johnson. “We are investing heavily in this move, and we are doing it right with newer, more advanced and larger equipment than what we had in Page (North Dakota). We are preparing for the future.”
In addition to domestic growth, TALC USA also plans to expand internationally and expand distribution. Further announcements are expected later this year.
