Notre Dame is in first place for the second straight week since Christine Halfpenny became the program’s winningest head coach thanks to its win over Duke. Duke University was a team that turned a corner heading into 2024 after a slow start.
Northwestern remains in second place after a big win over rival Maryland in Saturday’s nightcap. It was Maryland’s first home conference loss in 18 years since Kathy Reese took over the program.
Syracuse University and Boston University also remain in third and fourth place, respectively. Undefeated Ivy League No. 10 Yale and No. 11 Princeton are riding high after defeating No. 12 Penn, which entered Week 5 after defeating the University of Maryland on March 27.
Speaking of the Ivies, Harvard has broken into the U.S. Lacrosse Division I Women’s Top 20 for the first time this season, and the revolving door continues at No. 20.
