Available weekly at St. Tammany Parish Library while supplies last. The Jefferson Parish Library will be distributing 3,000 glasses starting Friday. Glasses will be available at New Orleans libraries from April 4th to 8th, but gifts are limited to three pairs per family.The New Orleans Library is also participating in the noon viewing event
INFINITY Science Center in Mississippi hosts solar eclipse viewing party
Mississippi’s INFINITY Science Center will host a viewing party for the U.S. solar eclipse next week. Only about 50% of the eclipse will be visible along the Mississippi-Louisiana border. A viewing party will be held at his INFINITY Science Center in Pearlington starting at 9 a.m. The event will feature live coverage of the solar eclipse from NASA and promises his day full of scientific fun.
