Seven of the eight teams that have qualified for the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games will compete in the 2024 IBSA Men’s Blind Soccer World Grand Prix, to be held in Schilchheim, France, starting May 26th.
The official draw will take place on Tuesday 2nd April at 11:30 (Central European Time).
You can watch the draw live on the IBSA Blind Football website.
Current Paralympic champion Brazil, world and Americas champion Argentina, Asian title holder China, European champion France, Japan, Thailand, Colombia and Tolquier make up the quality field.

At the last World Grand Prix held in Brazil in 2023, the host nation defeated Japan 2-0 to take first place. Argentina defeated France to take third place.
South American rivals Brazil and Argentina have traded titles since the World Grand Prix began in 2018. The latter won the first three tournaments, and Brazil will aim for a hat-trick after winning in 2022 and 2023.

IBSA Blind Soccer President Elias Mastras said: “It is fitting that the most powerful IBSA Blind Soccer World Grand Prix in history will be held in the same country that will host the Paralympic Games just a few months later.” “This will serve as a kind of ‘test event’ for fans to experience what they can experience in front of the Eiffel Tower from September 1st to 5th.”
The 2024 IBSA Blind Soccer World Grand Prix begins with the group stage on May 26th, followed by the final and third place match on June 1st.
All matches will be broadcast live on the IBSA Blind Football website.
