Google has released Android 15 Developer Preview 2 with changes such as improved handling of automatic language switching and updates to OpenJDK 17.
Similar to our first developer update last month, this release is intended for developers only and is useful for early development, testing, and feedback. Because Android 15 Developer Preview 2 is an early baseline build, the Android system and the apps that run on it may not always work as expected.

Improved handling of automatic language switching. A new feature in Android 15 is the ability to improve text readability with fine-grained line break control. Developers can use this to avoid line breaks and hyphenation.
This release also includes an early preview of significant improvements to the PDFRenderer API, allowing you to incorporate advanced features into your apps such as password-protected file rendering, annotations, form editing, search, and copy-to-select. can.
Many improvements have been made to make this release more private and secure, including screen recording detection. This provides a way to detect when your app is being recorded. The callback is called whenever the app transitions between showing and hiding within the screen recording. This means that if your app is performing sensitive operations, it can notify the user that those operations are being recorded.
