Elisabeth Moss battles her way through Europe in trailer for FX spy series ‘The Veil’

Elisabeth Moss is trying some new things in her upcoming FX Hulu limited series “The Veil,” including an action star butt-kicking and an English accent.

And judging by the trailer for “The Veil,” released Thursday morning, she’s hitting it big with the first trailer. And her accent is almost convincing too. (We are children, we are children.)

In the spy thriller series, which premieres April 30, Moss plays Imogen Salter, a veteran MI6 agent with a talent for undercover work, who takes a seemingly vulnerable and desperate woman (Yumna Marwan) from Istanbul. In the process, they play a “dangerous game of truth and lies” in which “one side has a secret and the other must expose it,” according to the official description.

The trailer doesn’t give any hint as to what the secret is or which of the two men has it.
