He most recently served as acting Washington bureau chief for the Los Angeles Times, where he led coverage of the 2024 campaign and edited daily newspapers, corporate stories and features on Congress, the White House and the nation’s immigration detention system.
Previously, he was political editor at The Atlantic, where he was responsible for much of the magazine’s digital coverage of the 2020 election and the January 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol.
