Tracy Black has taken over as Scotland’s CBI director from Hugh Aitken, becoming the first woman to hold the post.
Ms Black has been part of the CBI Scotland team since April last year, shadowing Mr Aitken as deputy regional director.
Born and raised in Scotland, she has had a varied business career working for global financial services institutions, small business consultancies and entrepreneurial start-ups in the UK and abroad.
Mr Aitken will remain part of the CBI Scotland team in 2018, leading a number of ongoing projects and acting as an ambassador for the organisation.
Mr. Black said:After a year of hard work, we have made our landmark a reality pursuit of prosperity According to the report, we have a very solid platform to launch our campaign efforts in 2018.
