Condemned. The Express Tribune reported that he termed the former’s selection as the country’s top leader “illegal”.

According to the report, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf (PTI) leaders called the ruling coalition “a fascist regime without ideology and only focused on plundering Pakistan’s resources.”

Earlier on Sunday, the National Assembly elected Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader as the country’s 24th prime minister.

Addressing parliament, the PTI leader expressed dissatisfaction over what he termed “unfair election practices”.

“The election of the chairman, vice-chairman and prime minister became illegal because we did not win the seats we should have,” he said, according to Pakistan Daily.

Khan also criticized some sections of the media for their coverage of the election and subsequent events, saying, “When Prime Minister-elect Shehbaz Sharif was speaking, the cameras were pointed at him.” He added that the speech should also be reported. live. “

“What I want to say to the people of Pakistan is that the people of the PML-N and other parties sitting here seem to be defeated. If you look at their faces, they have been given a stolen mission. You can see that when a thief steals and runs away, there is fear on his face,” the PTI leader added.

He said a “case” was filed against 80 party members in Lahore over protests by the PTI alleging fraud in the February 8 elections, The Express Tribune reported.

He also disputed the ruling coalition’s claims about the elections, saying, “You (the ruling coalition) took away our election symbols and robbed us of our Form 45 results. But we stood, we standing, and we are,” he added. It will stand until Imran Khan is sworn in as Prime Minister. ”

Citing the May 9 riots following the arrest of party founder and former prime minister Imran Khan, PTI leaders demanded accountability for the riots, called for a judicial inquiry into the incident and said, “The truth should be brought to light.” ‘The Truth’ called for the release of ‘video footage’ of the incident.

Shehbaz is scheduled to take oath as Pakistan’s 24th Prime Minister on Monday, ARY News reported, citing sources.

President Arif Alvi is scheduled to swear in the next prime minister at a ceremony at the presidential palace on Monday at 3 p.m., sources said.
