Customer thought his phone was switched off due to ‘missed payment’

The shock of a customer’s network suddenly going down led people to believe they had “missed a payment.”

Some AT&T users have become concerned that their mobile service has been disconnected for not paying their accounts. One said, “I’ve reset my phone 3 times and checked my bill payment twice @ATT, what’s going on? Is the service down or what?” Tweeted.

Meanwhile, Verizon users in Philadelphia, Chicago, Brooklyn, Houston, New York City, Dallas, Los Angeles, Spokane, and San Ramon reported the most network outages. Approximately 1,500 bug reports have been filed with Verizon.
