Samsung reveals One UI 6.1 rollout schedule including Galaxy AI features

Around the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung assured us that One UI 6.1, the software debuting on these phones, would also be available on other devices. Now, the company has given a timeline for when that rollout will begin.

Samsung says One UI 6.1 will start rolling out to the Galaxy S23 series (including the Galaxy S23 FE), Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 series starting in “late March.” Unfortunately, the company did not reveal any more specifics. We had previously heard this schedule through leaks, and it’s great to see the company confirm it.

All in all, it’s great to see that Samsung doesn’t intend to hold back Galaxy AI features from other phones. Of course, this makes it hard to recommend the Galaxy S24 series to people when they could instead save a lot of cash by purchasing a Galaxy S23 series device with nearly identical hardware and the same features in the near future. makes me hesitate.
