Danny Masterson is back on the move.
The 47-year-old “That ’70s Show” star has been transferred from Central California’s Corcoran State Prison, a maximum-security prison in California that once housed cult leader Charles Manson. Masterson was transferred to the California Men’s Colony, a state prison for men in San Luis Obispo, California, according to online records from the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation.
A CDCR representative confirmed to USA TODAY on Monday that Masterson was transferred to the new facility on February 16th. CDCR added that “by law” “we cannot disclose information regarding the reason for the transfer or detailed housing information.”
According to CDCR, the minimum and medium security prison consists of two complexes. The facility offers a variety of educational and self-help programs, including “cognitive behavioral therapy programs, substance abuse education, criminal thinking, anger management, and family relationships,” the website says.

In January, records show Masterson was transferred to Corcoran State Prison, where Manson had been held since 1989. The facility is one of 10 that houses the state’s “most violent and dangerous male offenders,” according to the Department of Corrections.
The move comes after a state judge also ruled in January that Masterson was a flight risk and denied him bail pending an appeal, according to documents published by The Wrap and Deadline. It was conducted.
