IndyCar and NBC Sports have announced the broadcast schedule and start time for the 2024 season, which will begin at noon ET on March 10 at the Firestone Grand Prix in St. Petersburg.
The season opener is one of 11 events broadcast on NBC. Including the first Million Dollar Challenge Exhibition March 24th at Thermal Club in Southern California. There will be six races on USA Network, with two races exclusive to Peacock (July 21 in Toronto and Aug. 31 in Milwaukee). The start time for the April 28 race at NBC’s Barber Motorsports Park is still being finalized (the event is traditionally held in the mid-afternoon).

Other highlights of the 2024 schedule:
—Indy 500 qualifying coverage will air on Sunday, May 19th at 3pm ET on NBC and Peacock to determine pole position and starting grid.
-The Milwaukee Mile returns to the IndyCar schedule for the first time in eight years and will run from August 31st to September 31st. One double header.
—The final race of the season moves to Nashville Superspeedway. The first episode will air on September 15th at 3pm ET on NBC and Peacock.
2023 Indy 500 winner Josef Newgarden said in a release: “The 2024 NTT IndyCar Series season will bring significant changes to the schedule, both for fans watching the broadcast and for fans watching in person. “This should be an exciting change.” “New races at The Thermal Club and the Milwaukee Mile bring new venues to the schedule, and crowning a champion in my hometown of Nashville will be a must-see on TV.”
