The world’s tallest and shortest people had breakfast together in California on Monday, reuniting for the first time in six years since they first met at a photoshoot in Egypt.
Turkey’s Sultan Kosen and India’s Jyoti Amge, who have a height difference of more than six feet, took a new photo after their meeting.
Kosen, 41, holds the Guinness World Record for being the tallest living man at 8 feet 2 inches tall, and is the shortest living woman at just 2 feet 0.7 inches tall. (30 years old) can be seen towering over him.
In one image, Amge, who is only slightly taller than Kosen’s shoes, stands next to them, smiling ear to ear. In another photo, we see him sitting and her standing on a chair near him, but she can barely reach his shoulders.
Photos of the meeting were published by Turkey’s Anadolu news agency, but it was not immediately clear who organized the visit. Anadolu newspaper reported that the two traveled to Los Angeles at the invitation of an anonymous American producer and planned to record their encounter.

The pair last met in 2018 when they visited Egypt and posed next to the Great Sphinx of Giza. The Sphinx is also recognized by the Guinness Book of World Records as officially the world’s largest monolithic sculpture.
Kose officially became the world’s tallest man in 2009, at the time becoming the first man to be over 8 feet tall in more than 20 years.
He also holds the record for the world’s largest hand. His gigantic size is the result of a medical condition called pituitary gigantism, which causes bones and body parts to grow at a much faster rate than most people.
Mr. Cosen grew at an average rate until age 10, when his condition worsened due to a tumor and his growth was dramatic.

He previously spoke to Guinness World Records about what it means to be this tall. One of his advantages is that he can help his mother with tasks, such as changing broken light bulbs or hanging curtains, but disadvantages include: You can’t find clothes or shoes that fit, or you find it very difficult to get into a normal-sized car.
Ms Amge, 30, won the title of world’s shortest woman in 2011, after previously holding the record as the world’s shortest teenager. Her short stature is due to a type of dwarfism called achondroplasia.
In 2014, she became the world’s shortest actress when she played the role of Ma Petite in Ma Petite. american horror story.
