What you need to know

  • Google’s official Merchandise Store sells company-branded products, but also offers some fan favorites from Chrome and Android.
  • The Google Merchandise Store has suddenly sold a 3-inch vinyl figure of “The Bot,” the latest version of Android’s mascot.
  • This collector’s item retailed for $16 but has since sold out. However, there are some other cool goodies you can check out.

Google’s iconic mascot for Android has been around for what feels like forever, but the company recently overhauled its design to make it look more three-dimensional. The latest version of this fan favorite is known as “The Bot,” and Google has temporarily allowed Android collectors to purchase his 3-inch version of this mascot.

However, this collection item is available in limited quantities and is understandably already sold out. It’s unclear when or if the official “Android Classic Collectible” will return. Previously, you could purchase the older “Android Mini Collectible” version from the Dead Zebra website for $10.

The official Android Classic Collectible is now available on Google’s official Merchandise Store. Google’s official Merchandise Store sells Google-branded products. These were often limited in quantity, and Android Classic Collectibles were no different. This came as a 3-inch vinyl figure of him with poseable arms and antennas, and retailed for $16.

Android fans rushed to buy “The Bot” and the figure sold out within just hours of being shared on social media. It came with a gift box covered in Android and “The Bot” branding.

If you’ve been itching to get your hands on some official Android merchandise, all hope isn’t lost. For one, his Android Mini Collectible from Dead Zebra occasionally appears online, especially on resale sites like eBay. However, those looking for Android products in Google’s Merchandise Store can find shirts, mugs, water bottles, stickers, and more. Please note that these products are available in limited quantities, so if you are interested, please hurry.

If you’re craving Google’s collectible figures, there are still some available. This is a Chrome Dino Collectible Figurine set that includes a classic Chrome minigame dinosaur and some cacti. Priced at $30, there are over 300 units available as of this writing.

Beyond Android and Chrome brands, there’s a lot to explore in the Google Merchandise Store. We have everything from T-shirts to windbreakers to bikes. However, if you want to get your hands on the Android Classic Collectible, you’ll have to wait and hope it gets restocked.
