As we wait another week for the NE-10 to start taking chunks of each other in their conference, the War Worlds, we see a number of teams remain in this week’s USA Lacrosse Division II Men’s Top 20 .
That said, the distancing and overreaction to early results across the rest of the region has set the tone for a tense start to the season. SAC won’t be here for long. We’re here to win the game. And winning games is exactly what teams in the conference have done.
Limestone and Lenoir-Rhyne remain undefeated, with the Saints looking particularly lively with their goal-scoring acumen. Wingate stumbled early, but if Hurst’s train continues to derail, will the Bulldogs’ win over Mercyhurst last week remain as impressive? Coker won three in a row and moved up in the standings accordingly.
Montevallo dropped 26th place at Tusculum on Sunday as he clearly wanted to maintain his position, while Newberry was adjusted lower in the season starting position in exchange for an early start. Hierarchies are constantly changing, and so are ranks.
