Apple’s upcoming iPhone 16 series has sparked a lot of speculation, with the lineup expanding to five models, including variations of the iPhone 16 SE in the flagship series, and offering different display sizes and camera configurations. There are rumors going around that there are. The report also hints at the iPhone 16 price.
While the official announcement is expected in September, tech insider Majin Bu stoked excitement by sharing details and high-level insights into the iPhone 16’s potential pricing. While these details remain unconfirmed, they provide a glimpse of what consumers can expect from this highly anticipated device.
Rumored pricing suggests the iPhone 16 SE model could start at $699 (~ INR58,000 for the 128GB model) and $799 for the iPhone 16 Plus SE version (~ INR66,300 for 256GB). Meanwhile, the standard iPhone 16 is speculated to maintain its starting price of $699 with the 256GB option, while the Pro and Pro Max models could be priced at $999 (~ INR82,900) and $1099 (~ INR91,200 each for the 256GB version).

One of the most important leaks points to the addition of two new iPhone 16 SE models, the iPhone 16 SE and iPhone 16 Plus SE, with 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch displays, respectively. Both are said to feature a distinctive dynamic island notch and 60Hz refresh rate, indicating the possibility of the budget-friendly SE line being integrated into the main series.
Beyond the SE’s additional features, the iPhone 16 series is expected to feature standard iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro models with 6.3-inch displays and 120Hz refresh rates. The iPhone 16 Pro Max, on the other hand, is likely to boast a larger 6.9-inch display while maintaining a smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
Furthermore, the camera configuration is rumored to vary depending on the model, with the iPhone 16 SE model having one pill-shaped rear camera similar to the iPhone X. In contrast, the standard iPhone 16 is speculated to feature a dual camera setup. Pro models may have a triple camera system similar to the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max.
While these leaks provide interesting insights, Apple’s official announcement will clarify the pricing and features of the iPhone 16 variants.
