In addition to the Android Safe Browsing feature, we’ve added a live threat detection toggle for even more accurate threat detection. Both features use Android’s SafetyNet Safe Browsing API, which scans links and websites for threats and alerts you if you encounter anything unsafe. New features should not be your only defense against malware and viruses, but Phishing attemptwhich is an extra layer of protection that helps keep your mobile device (and your personal data) safer.
