“Mennonite Action is grateful to have received a Church Peace Tax Fund grant from MC USA,” said Mennonite Action organizer Adam Reimer. We can invest in organizing efforts and grow the movement for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza and lasting peace between Palestinians and Israelis. I look forward to continuing to work with MC USA on a journey for peace and justice inspired by liberation theology.”
The Church Peace Tax Fund is MC USA’s effort to strengthen the denomination’s role as a historic church of peace by reinvigorating the collective voice against the destructive forces of militarism. In our congregation, community, and beyond. We provide the following financial resources:

They are witnesses to the good news of Jesus Christ in our world,” said Lorraine Stutzman Amstatz, MC USA Minister of Denominational Peace and Justice. “We want to support the work that Mennonite Action has done through bold public action to call for an end to war, and this fund provides a means to do that,” she added.
