COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – USA Archery is now accepting applications for the 2024 Explore Archery Grant. This grant, administered by USA Archery, is made possible thanks to generous donations from the Association of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (AFWA) and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), and is part of multiple state grant opportunities announced this year. This is the second time.
The goal is to expand archery into new communities across the United States, hire diverse instructors, and grow archery in urban and suburban areas.
Through this grant, USA Archery will award the USA Archery Level 2 certification to 30 new urban and suburban archery instructors. Selected recipients will also receive equipment and program materials to support the launch of the new Her Explore Archery program.
USA Archery is committed to providing support and educational opportunities to individuals representing diverse communities to promote diversity and inclusion in sports.
Interested coaches can access grant information here. Applicants should carefully read the requirements for each event before completing their application. Application deadline is June 15th.
