With the NFL season ending just one game away from the Super Bowl, 30 fan bases are looking forward to the NFL Draft. The first day is scheduled to begin on April 25th at 8pm ET, so there’s still plenty of time before things change. But even as the dream approaches becoming a reality, there is still a lot of speculation about who will be taken where and to which team.
Could the Chicago Bears choose to stick with Justin Fields and trade the No. 1 overall pick to gain more draft capital? The Arizona Cardinals will take Marvin Harrison with the No. 4 overall pick・Will we get a junior? With so many elite prospects filling out the 2024 draft pool, we can expect a million different outcomes.
Here are some predictions for where the top NFL Draft prospects will go.

QB Caleb Williams (USC)
As the world changes around us, Caleb Williams continues to be at the top of NFL draft boards. Although the USC Trojans did not perform as well as many expected, Williams played pretty well and maintained his status as the top quarterback option in the class. Williams is such a talented prospect that experts argue the Bears shouldn’t trade King’s Ransom for the No. 1 overall pick. If that doesn’t tell you how good of a player Williams is, nothing does.

After the 2023 Heisman campaign, Daniels will skyrocket up draft boards, with some predicting he will leapfrog North Carolina’s Drake Maye. Daniels boasts incredible speed and incredible accuracy. His meteoric rise may cause some teams to shy away from Daniels, but the Patriots and Commanders are both in desperate need of a quarterback, so he shouldn’t fall outside of the top three picks.

Although Maye ended his career playing very consecutively, Maye still has all the tools needed to be a great NFL quarterback. It would be only fitting that Maye replace Sam Howell in Washington, just as he replaced Sam Howell at UNC. However, there are still some who believe the manager could offer May to a more proven winner in Daniels.

Arguably the biggest wide receiver prospect of this century, Harrison would be the No. 1 overall pick in any other draft class. Unfortunately for him, most mock drafts have his three great quarterback prospects ahead of him. However, fortunately for Arizona Cardinals fans, Harrison could end up in their lap right away without being traded.

WR Malik Nabers, LSU
The New York Giants have already drafted several receivers as downfield threats, but Nabors will almost immediately become the most complete player in their wide receiver room. Nabers’ exceptional ability to create space and game-breaking speed will be a breath of fresh air for a Giants offense that hasn’t had reliable outside options in years.

WR Roma Odunze (Washington)
One of the most well-rounded receivers in this year’s class, Odunze is expected to be a great option right away. Most mock drafts have Odunze going to either the Los Angeles Chargers or Chicago Bears. Either way, Odunze would instantly make either wide receiver group elite. Whether paired with Keenan Allen or DJ Moore, Odunze will be positioned to complete a dominant 1-2 receiver duo.

The Tennessee Titans have a big hole at left tackle since Taylor Lewan’s career was cut short by injury, and if 7-year-old Joe Alt is available, that’s a sure thing. The Titans may elect to acquire a receiver going forward with the possibility of being less reliant on Derrick Henry, but the team will immediately add to the offensive line and add franchise quarterback Will Revis. As a player who can protect the team, the appointment of Ort makes a lot of sense.

OT Olumuyiwa Fashanu, Penn Street
Widely considered the second-best tackling option behind Alto, Fashanu is definitely a good matchup for the Jets, who just watched Aaron Rodgers sit on the sideline throughout his first season with the team. It should be. It’s possible the team could go with a receiver or tight end (if Bowers is available) to give Rodgers another weapon, but a tackle is badly needed and Rodgers is 40 years old.

TE Brock Bowers, Georgia
The best tight end prospect since Kyle Pitts, Bowers would be a great acquisition for any team with a top-10 pick (yes, even Atlanta). With Jim Harbaugh installed as the new head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, Bowers could be in the spotlight, as Harbaugh has relied on good tight end play for most of his coaching career. Harbaugh relied heavily on Vernon Davis during his time as head coach of the San Francisco 49ers. He leaned heavily toward tight end throughout his years at Michigan. But if the Chargers don’t, Bowers could fall to the tail end of the top-10 picks.

Despite not being the focal point of the offense at the University of Michigan, former head coach Jim Harbaugh drew attention to the NFL by working hard at the plate for his former quarterback, leading to him being drafted as a top quarterback. But fans said they shouldn’t be surprised. That would be a significant change, but the chances of that happening are very low. In fact, few expect McCarthy to finish in the top 10.
