When choosing the perfect place for a beach vacation, travelers often look for the bluest waters where they can frolic and relax.

London-based travel agency CV Villas conducted a study in March to find the beaches with the bluest water based on scientific color theory to help travelers choose the perfect beach with beautiful blue water. . Surrounded by dramatic golden cliffs and offshore rock formations, this tranquil beach is popular for its crystal clear turquoise waters. To access the beach, you have to walk through a man-made tunnel and stairs, at the other end of which lies a secluded sandy beach.
7. Foki Beach, Greece
Foki Beach on the Ionian island of Kefalonia was named after the monk seals that once frequented the beach. The pebble beach is surrounded by olive and pine trees and features crystal clear blue waters perfect for swimmers and snorkelers. Visitors can stroll around the beach via nearby paths.
6. Vulisma Beach, Greece
Also known as Golden Beach, this crescent-shaped beach is one of the most popular destinations in eastern Crete. With soft white sand and calm azure waters, bathers spend the day stopping at nearby snack stands and renting umbrellas to protect themselves from the sun.
5. Kaputa Beach, Türkiye
One of the most popular beaches on Turkey’s Mediterranean coast, Kaputa Beach is known for its golden sand and crystal clear waters. Located between two cliffs, this beach can only be accessed by descending a steep staircase carved into the side of the cliff. You can enjoy the beach by renting sunbeds and umbrellas.
4. Plage de la Verne, France
Plage de la Verne, in the Provence-Alpes-Côte d’Azur region of southern France, is a charming pebble cove on the Saint-Mandlier-sur-Mer peninsula. Visitors can access the beach via a coastal path. There is a little space for bathers to relax in the sun, and the water is beautiful and blue, but you can’t really swim.

The top spot for the bluest water is Pasquila Beach, or Mirror Beach. This beach got its name because of the crystal clear water that reflects the sun like a mirror. The coastline, surrounded by strangely shaped rocks and mountains, is known for its breathtaking beauty. Beach visitors follow a dirt road and descend a rocky path. Although the water is beautiful, it is known to get quite crowded as the day goes on.
